HONEY GLAZE RECIPES

SWEET POTATO PUREÉ

INGREDIENTS

4 large sweet potatoes

3 Tablespoons Sweet Honey Glaze

6 Tablespoons butter, melted 

¼ cup sour cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Pierce sweet potato 5-6 times with a fork. Microwave sweet potatoes for 20 minutes or until very tender. Cover with foil and cool to room temperature.    

Step 2

Peel the potatoes, discarding the skins. 

Step 3

Add the sweet potato flesh, Sweet Honey Glaze and butter to a food processor or blender. Process until smooth.

Step 4

Fold in the sour cream. Serve warm. 

HONEY GLAZE RECIPES

GLAZED HAM

INGREDIENTS

4 tablespoons Sweet Honey Glaze

1 – 5-pound smoked ham

2 tablespoons honey

1 ½ teaspoons water

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Heat ham according to package directions. Usually this is 10 minutes per pound at 325ºF.  Add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Cover the ham with foil.

Step 2

In small bowl mix together the Sweet Honey Glaze, honey and water.

Step 3

30 minutes before the ham is finished cooking, remove from oven and brush with glaze. 

Step 4

Return the ham to the oven uncovered for remaining 30 minutes.

Step 5

Rest 15-20 minutes before slicing.

HONEY GLAZE RECIPES

GLAZED SALMON

INGREDIENTS

4 teaspoons Sweet Honey Glaze

4  – 4 ounce salmon fillets 

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Preheat broiler to high.

Step 2

Line a rimmed cookie sheet or roasting pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.

Step 3

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon Sweet Honey Glaze on each salmon fillet, except skin side.

Step 4

Place the seasoned filLets on the prepared pan skin side up. Broil for 2 minutes. Remove from the oven and peel off and discard the skin. Flip fillets over.

Step 5

Reduce the oven to 350ºF.

Step 6

Roast for 9-12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 132ºF.
